So, just what is The Apartment?

There’s talk on the fashion scene of The Apartment..but just what is it?

The world of social media has given many people the gift of making contacts that would never have once made, and give them opportunities to set up businesses, or events that they previously may never have dreamed of.

In a world full of fashion blogs, where the average Jo or Josephina can become a fashion editor in their own right, the digital world is now bringing brands and bloggers together like never before.

Enter Abisola of super blog Abimarvel – a super friendly and talented fashionista who is taking the Industry into her own hands. Abi came up with the idea of The Apartment, a pop up event each fashion season, where bloggers can come together to relax, eat, and work between shows at London Fashion Week. But it is also a place where bloggers can interact with brands, with specialised themes at The Apartment each season

It’s not just about Fashion Week:

Abi also makes sure that there are other events happening throughout the year, which brings brands together with bloggers they might not have once targeted. For instance, having a Dulux paint event and getting fashion bloggers involved with that. Who would have seen that happening?

I’ve been seeing the buzz about The Apartment online last season as much as this one, and I gotta say I’m super jealous as bad as that sounds. What a brilliant idea, and such a cool, unique thing for a blogger to do, to use her power, reach and influence to let others benefit from her connections really!

Hey Maria, I completely agree, it is such a good idea. I love it when bloggers come up with such clever ways to make social media and their contacts work for them xx
