Here in the UK, it was raining quite a lot over the weekend, and the boy and I had been hibernating for most of it. We decided to venture outside yesterday afternoon, for a Sunday roast. I couldn’t think of anything more fitting than to brighten the day up, than with this gorgeous chunky yellow knit dress my mum made me last year. She’s a VERY talented knitter and I’ve tried to encourage her to sell her stuff, but alas to no avail.
The dress is rather big, and so I belted it with a thin black belt, taken from a H&M dress, and paired it with some riding boots from Primark. These were on sale last year, so not sure you can buy any others at the moment, but you can get your hands on some similar ones here. There are not many coats I can wear with it, so opted for a black blazer jacket, which only just fit the arms in. I looked like I looked like I had big muscles! I’ve always been wearing my Halo hair extensions again recently, perfect for someone like me who gets so bored easily.
How was your weekend? How do you cope with dressing in this odd weather, that keeps showering and sun shining?
